RBSVP is a boating safety outreach program sponsored by the USCG and USCG Auxiliary that promotes, encourages and supports boating safety through establishing partnerships with marine dealerships, marinas, boating/yacht clubs, boat builders, water privileged communities and other local businesses or organizations (program partners) that regularly interact with or deliver services to recreational boaters.  

RBSVP program goals include: 

1. Helping to create and maintain a high level of awareness, knowledge and expertise relative to boating safety practices, guidelines, procedures, issues, topics and considerations within the recreational boating community

2. Providing convenient and timely access to boating safety information, education, training, resources and assistance

3. Making available relevant boating safety reminders, information, literature, data and facts at locations frequented by recreational boaters at or near their points of use

RBSVP, which directly supports the US Coast Guard’s boating safety mission and activities, is operated by trained and certified Program Visitors (PV's) who are members of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary.

RBSVP is NOT associate with any type of LAW ENFORCEMENT activities
